Boise State Sorority Holds Teddy Bear Drive

The Boise State University Alpha Xi Delta sorority focuses its time and efforts on the growth and development of children. During the month of October, Alpha Xi Delta is holding a teddy bear drive to collect new (or new looking) stuffed animals for donation to the Boise Fire Department and Ada County Sheriff Department. Officers then give the stuffed animals to children at the scene of an incident. Alpha Xi Delta will collect stuffed animals from noon-4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, and Saturday, Oct. 23, at Toys-R-Us, at Milwaukie and Franklin streets. They will also collect stuffed animals at the entrances to Bronco Stadium before the Fresno State vs. BSU football game on Saturday, Oct. 23.
