Register for Course in Basque Language at Boise State

For the first time in a decade, Boise State University will offer a Basque language course for spring 2005. To register for the four-credit course you must first be admitted to Boise State as either a degree seeking or non-degree seeking student.

The Basque class (BASQUE 197 Special Topics: Elementary Basque I) will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:25 p.m. in Gowen Field Building 521, Room 3, followed by a mandatory lab from 7:30-8 p.m. in the same location.

The instructor, Diana Lachiondo, completed an immersion program in the Basque Country at the AEK Basque Language School in Gernika. She previously taught Basque language at the University of Washington Experimental College.

For more information on applying at Boise State, call the Admissions Office at 426-1156. Register for the class through BroncoWeb at broncoweb.boisestate.edu.
