The Body Image Project. Student Union Gallery. 7 a.m.-11 p.m. daily. The Women’s Center presents an art project by Larry Kirkwood intended to change the way we physically look at ourselves and perceive others. Free. Call 426-4259.

NOV. 14-21
“Dante.” Morrison Center Stage II. Nov. 14 & 21, 2 p.m.; Nov. 17-20, 7:30 p.m. With music and script by BSU student Adam Harrell, “Dante” is a musical comedy that takes its hero of the same name through his own personal hell. SUNDAY, NOV. 14
The music of Mel Shelton. Morrison Center Main Hall. 4 p.m. The Boise State Symphonic Winds joins with the Centennial High School Symphonic Band and former students of Mel Shelton in a concert featuring the music of this outstanding Idaho composer. Proceeds benefit scholarships. Tickets are $5 general, $3 for seniors and free for students of all ages and Boise State faculty and staff. Call 426-3980.

MONDAY, NOV. 15
“UFOs: The Hidden History.” Special Events Center. 8-9:30 p.m. Robert Hastings, independent UFO researcher, will speak about the hidden truth behind UFOs. Hastings claims the U.S. government has been concealing information about alien contact for more than 50 years. Free. Call 426-4636.

Mark Chesnutt. Taco Bell Arena. 7:30 p.m. One of country’s musical treasures, Chesnutt bears a torch for traditional honky-tonk country music as he brings his “Saving the Honky Tonk” tour to Boise. $19.50 through Professional Firefighters of Idaho, 1-877-653-0599; $22.50 at the door.

“Smokey Joe’s Café.” Morrison Center Main Hall. 7:30 p.m. The greatest hits of the ‘50s and ‘60s are all on the menu at Smokey Joe’s Café, a rockin’ party of a show that will have your hands clappin’ and toes tappin’. The Day My God Died, Diverse Perspectives Film Series.  Cultural Center. 5:30 p.m. An independent documentary presenting the stories of young girls whose lives have been shattered by the child sex trade. “Speak Up Forum” racism and immigration panel. BSU Men’s Chorus. (Photo op) Music Clinic with Sandip Burman. Special Events Center. 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Clinic for brass, strings and percussion by Indian jazz fusion performer. Burman has made a name for himself as a player with blinding speed and crisp, clear precision. His vast repertoire, flexibility and creativity have enabled him to play jazz and world music in addition to traditional Indian classical music. Free. Register at 426-5950. This clinic is open to all BSU students who are interested in participating. R.S.V.P. to reserve one of only 20 spots at 426-4317.
