200-member choir and orchestra and a performance by pianist

Sandip Burman and Friends. Special Events Center. 4:30 p.m.
Indian jazz fusion-percussion concert from one of the
best-known tabla performers. Sandip has made a name for
himself as a player with blinding speed and crisp, clear
precision. His vast repertoire, flexibility and creativity
have enabled him to play jazz and world music in addition to
traditional Indian classical music. Presented by Student
Activities Global Expression Series. Tickets are $10
general, $5 for students, seniors and Boise State employees

�Trudell� film screening. Special Events Center. 7-9 p.m.
�Trudell� follows the life work of Native American
poet/activist John Trudell. Filmmaker Heather Rae has spent
more than a decade chronicling his travels, spoken word and
politics in a poetic and naturally stylized manner. Rae and
Trudell to lead a discussion following the film. Presented
by the Cultural Center. Tickets are $5 general and $1 with
