Boise State To Offer SolidWorks! Training In January

The Center for Workforce Training in the Selland College of Applied Technology at Boise State University is now accepting enrollments in a SolidWorks! class designed to give students an overview and hands-on practice using the software.

The software has been used to design carbon fiber bikes for the Olympics, the fastest electric car on earth and the world s biggest cement manufacturer. The 3-D software program allows engineers and machinists to work together. Designers can graphically conceptualize their products, detect any interference among parts and systems, and generate multiple designs from a single model.

Enrollments are being accepted for the class on a first come, first served basis. For more information call the Center for Workforce Training at 426-1974.
