SUNDAY, DEC. 5
Annual Family Holiday Concert. Morrison Center Main Hall. 7:30 p.m. This annual community tradition features Boise State choirs, orchestras, ensembles and more. Presented by the Boise State University Department of Music. Tickets are $6 general, $4 for seniors, $1 for students at Select-a-Seat. Free tickets for Boise State students, faculty and staff at Student Union Info Desk. Call 426-3980.

MONDAY, DEC. 6
Debt Reduction Workshop. Student Union Alexander Room. Noon. Todd Christensen from Debt Reduction Services presents �Holiday Spending on a Student Budget.� The workshop will look at spending habits during the holidays and how to stay within a budget. Workshop includes free calculators and piggy banks for attendees. Presented by the Cultural Center. Free for Boise State students, faculty and staff. For reservations, call 426-4317.

TUESDAY, DEC. 7
Holiday Choral Concert. Cathedral of the Rockies, 11th and Hayes. 7:30 p.m. Join Boise State choirs for a festive evening of holiday music, including Vivaldi�s �Gloria.� Audience members can do some holiday shopping at the annual Meistersingers silent auction, held during intermission. Presented by the Department of Music. Tickets are $5 general, $3 for seniors and free for students of all ages and Boise State faculty and staff. Call 426-3980.

Idaho Flute Society Flute Choirs. Morrison Center Recital Hall. 7 p.m. IFS flute ensembles Silverwinds, Flute Flight and Alla Breve join the Boise State Flute Choir. Selections include Corelli's Christmas concerto, works by such composers as McMichael and Hoover, as well as arrangements of traditional carols and dances. Presented by the Department of Music. Free. DEC. 8-12
Disney on Ice, Monsters Inc. Taco Bell Arena. 7 p.m. Dec. 8-10; 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec, 11; 1 p.m. Dec. 12. A �monsterrific� adventure with Sulley, Mike and Boo as they re-energize Monstropolis with mega-watt laughter. Tickets are $7-$36 through Select-a-Seat. Call 426-1494.

THURSDAY, DEC. 9
All Campus Concert Band. Special Events Center. 7:30 p.m. Concert will include selections from the musical �Fiddler on the Roof,� a Sousa march, a Welsh tune and more. Tickets are $5 general, $3 for seniors and free for students of all ages and Boise State faculty and staff. Call 426-3980.

Coffee House Concert Series. Brenda Weiler. Student Union Brava! Stage. 5-7 p.m. Singer/songwriter Weiler�s insightful pop/folk songs on topics ranging from love and its struggle to war and depression have won more than a legion of dedicated fans. DEC. 10-11
Fall Dance Concert. Morrison Center Stage II. 7:30 p.m. Dec. 10 and 11; 2 pm. Dec. 11. Features 14 works by students and one work by faculty member Marla Hansen, which will be performed by the 14 student choreographers. Musical selections include a wide range of musical genres. FRIDAY, DEC. 10
Napolean Dynamite. Special Events Center. 8 p.m. Writer/director Jared Hess� feature film debut about an alienated teen who decides to help his new friend win the class presidency in their small town high school, while dealing with his bizarre family life back home. DEC. 11-12
�The Nutcracker.� Morrison Center Main Hall. 2 and 8 p.m. Dec. 11; 2 and 7 p.m. Dec. 12. A holiday story that delights the senses, �Nutcracker�s� whimsical dancing takes you around the world with Ballet Idaho, the Boise Philharmonic,  Opera Idaho Children�s Chorus and young dancers from the community. Presented by Ballet Idaho. Tickets are $9-$39 through Select-a-Seat. Call 426-1494.

DEC. 11-13
Clay and Fire exhibit and sale. Liberal Arts Gallery I. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. This semi-annual exhibition and sale offers a wide variety of one-of-a-kind items for holiday shoppers, featuring a large selection of high-quality work by ceramics students. A portion of the proceeds is applied toward the annual Visiting Artists Program in Ceramics. Call 426-4636.

SATURDAY, DEC. 11
Holidays Around the World. Boise State Student Union Jordan Ballroom. 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sample products from a variety of cultures at booths featuring crafts from all over the world, manned by student organizations and community members. Enjoy holiday cookies and punch, Santa Claus and karaoke on the main stage. Presented by the Cultural Center. Free. Call 426-5950.
