Parents of students in kindergarten through 12th
grade
are invited
to
attend a free
workshop,
“Financial Fitness for Life,”
Monday, Dec.
13, at
6-7:30
p.m.
at the Girl Scouts Friendship Square, 610
Reserve Street.
The
workshop
is sponsored by the Boise State University
Center for School Improvement and
Policy Studies, the National Council on
Economic
Education, and the Bank of America Foundation.
It
is designed
to help
parents learn about teaching their children
lifetime
financial fitness, including
earning an income, spending, saving and investing, using
credit, managing money, problem-solving and
decision-making.
“Financial Fitness for Life” parent guides, CD-ROMs and
refreshments are provided to participants.
