Five Boise State
Professors Recognized For Teaching, Research, Service 
|
Five Boise State University faculty members were honored
with the first-ever College of Social Sciences and Public
Affairs Awards at a Jan. 5 college meeting. The awards
recognize full-time and part-time teachers in three areas:
teaching, research and service.
Winners were:

Tenured Teaching Award: Mary Stohr, associate
professor and chair, Department of Criminal Justice
Administration. |

Tenured Research Award: Eric Landrum, professor,
Department of Psychology. |
 |
Tenured Service Award: Linda Anooshian, professor,
Department of Psychology. |
 |
Tenure-track Teaching/Research/Service Award:
Christopher Hill, assistant professor, Department of
Anthropology. |
 |
Adjunct Award: William Overton, Department of
Political Science. |
The purpose of the Awards program is to honor faculty
members in the College of Social Sciences and Public Affairs
who are doing outstanding work. Winners, chosen by a
committee, each received a $1,000 cash award and inclusion
on the college “Wall of Fame.”
