Progressive Advocacy Training Offered At Boise State

The Idaho Progressive Student Alliance presents its fifth annual Progressive Advocacy Training Feb. 18-21 at the Boise State University Student Union. The weekend includes several educational workshops and skill training, and will end with a march to the Capitol at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 21. All events are free. Registration forms and a full schedule are available by e-mailing idahoprogressives@mail.com. Housing and transportation is available for out-of-town guests. Please R.S.V.P. by Feb. 7.

Progressive Advocacy Training was put together to introduce progressive ideas to student leaders. This year, the focus has been extended to not only Boise State students, but to student leaders across the state of Idaho. Workshops range from grant writing to fair trade issues to activism through the arts, providing a wide variety of issues of interest to student leaders.
