NPR News91 and KBSW To Carry The State Of The State Address


Idaho Gov. Dirk Kempthorne�s State of the State address will be carried live on local public radio starting at 7 p.m. Monday evening, Jan. 10. The broadcast will be provided on NPR News 91 and KBSW.

 

The Republican governor�s speech will outline his legislative agenda for the upcoming session; he is expected to request business tax breaks to stimulate economic development and a simplified state tax code. 

 

Statehouse News Bureau chief Steve Jess will anchor the speech coverage.

 

NPR News 91 includes KBSX 91.5 FM, Boise; KBSY 88.5 FM, Burley; KBSJ 91.3 FM, Jackpot, NV; KBSQ 90.7 FM, McCall and KBSS 91.1 FM, Sun Valley. Also included in the network is translator 93.5 FM in New Meadows and Lake Fork. Cable 91.5 FM carries the signal in Donnelly, Cascade, McCall, Weiser and Council.

 

KBSW, 91.7 FM Twin Falls is also heard on translators 93.5 FM Ketchum, 89.3 Bellevue, 89.7 FM Challis, 91.9 FM Salmon and on Cable 90.3 FM in the Wood River Valley.
