Boise State University presents a
classical performance by celebrated violinist Linda Wang at
8 p.m. Saturday, March 5, in the Special Events Center. With
years of musical experience, Wang has enchanted audiences in
the U.S. and abroad with her solo and orchestra accompanied
performances. Tickets are $10 general and $5 for students 17
and under, seniors and Boise State students, employees and

Since her solo debut with the New York
Philharmonic at the age of 9, Wang has been captivating
audiences and critics throughout the world. Her performance
has been described as “pure gold;” her technique,
“masterful;” her bowing, “a technical marvel;” her
fingering, “fluid and accurate.” She has performed in many
prestigious concert venues, including Carnegie Hall and the
Berlin Schauspeilhaus.
Student Union Classical Performances is a
series that seeks to bring extraordinary traditional and
contemporary musicians to campus each year. Wang is the
