Boise State Nursing Students Initiate Two New
SADD Chapters at Borah and Kuna High Schools
Two new chapters of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) will be initiated at Borah and Kuna high schools by students in the Boise State University Nursing Department, with the help of school nurses, counselors and other faculty and staff.
As a kick-off to the program, activities will take place on March 14 and 15 during lunch periods (Borah High: 12:15-12:45 p.m.; Kuna High: 11 a.m.-1:05 p.m.). A crashed car will be displayed at each campus. Additional activities will be scheduled for later in the semester to promote positive decision making in regard to prom and graduation.
SADD is a national program that provides students with the means to deal with destructive decisions such as drug use and underage drinking, and promote positive decision-making.
