Boise State To Publish Visitor's Guide
A new publication by Boise State will provide campus visitors with pages of
useful information and helpful facts about the university when it is
released later this year.
The Boise State Visitors’ Guide will include campus information at a glance
including important telephone numbers, a list of academic offerings, a
campus map, facts and figures, and helpful information on admissions, clubs
and organizations, athletics and other activities and opportunities offered
by and associated with Boise State.
The four-color glossy magazine will be published by Campus Publishers of
Boulder, Colo., with text and photographs produced by BSU’s Office of
University Relations.
Approximately 20,000 copies of the Boise State Visitors’ Guide will be a
distributed free of charge throughout campus and will serve as a helpful
resource for prospective students, parents, conference and seminar attendees
and other visitors.
“We are delighted to join in this partnership with Campus Publishers,” said
Frank Zang, Boise State’s director of communications and marketing. “We had
the opportunity to review a number of other visitors’ guides Campus
Publishers produced, and we look forward to having a similar quality
publication that illustrates the breadth of what Boise State offers both its
students and the community.”
Currently, Campus Publishers is publishing visitors’ guides for a number of
institutions including Purdue University and the universities of Alabama,
Colorado, Illinois, South Florida, Texas and Washington.
The Boise State Visitors’ Guide, due for release during the fall 2005
semester, will include a local business index/directory with both classified
and display advertising.
