MONDAY, MARCH 28

Anne Applebaum lecture. Women�s History Month keynote speaker. Student Union Jordan Ballroom. 7 p.m. This Pulitzer Prize-winning author of �Between East and West: Across the Borderlands of Europe� and �Gulag: a History� is a columnist and member of the editorial board of The Washington Post. Presented by the Idaho Humanities Council, Women's Center, Gender Studies Program, Honors Program, Political Science Department, College of Social Sciences and Public Affairs, and Student Programs board. Angelo Manzo, guest tuba artist. Morrison Center Recital Hall. 7:30 p.m. University of Missouri tuba professor Angelo Manzo will be accompanied by Peggy Jo Purdy and Michael Fischer. Monday Night Laughs. Special Events Center. 7 p.m. Finalists from the Feb. 28 open mic comedy event open for professional comedian Kyle Grooms on the New Generation Comedy Tour. The audience decides on a winner who will be revealed at the April 25 Monday Night Laughs event. Presented by the Student Programs Board.
