SUNDAY, APRIL 3
Jonathan Retzlaff, guest artist.
Morrison Center Recital Hall. 4 p.m. Lyric baritone and Vanderbilt University voice professor Jonathan Retzlaff presents a concert and series of master classes. Tickets are $5 general, $3 for seniors and free for students of all ages and Boise State faculty and staff. Principles of Landscape Design and Native Plants.
Ada County Extension Division classroom, 5880 Glenwood, Boise. 10 a.m.-noon. Course covering basic landscaping principles, water conservation, color usage and plant selection. Presented by the Renaissance Institute. Admission is $40 plus membership. For reservations, call 426-1709.

District III Music Festival string solos and ensembles.

Kickstart Conference.
Student Union. 9 a.m. The Northwest’s premier entrepreneur event includes a series of workshops and seminars focusing on entrepreneurship and innovation. “Scheherazade” ballet.
