News Release April 20, 2005 Weather The Storm With Finals Relief
Students can weather the storm of finals stress with the Finals Relief
programs, May 8-12. Finals relief events are free unless otherwise
indicated, and are sponsored by ARAMARK, Campus Recreation, Health, Wellness
and Counseling, Academic Support Services, Albertsons Library and the
Student Union. Sunday, May 8 Night owl breakfast: 10:30 p.m.-midnight, Student Union Table Rock Dining Room. Free for resident students, $4 for non-residents.
Monday May 9 Massage and lunch: 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Student Union Jordan Ballroom. Babysitting service: 4-9 p.m., REC. Yoga: 6:40 p.m., REC Group Exercise Room. Massage: 7-9 p.m., Student Union Johnson Room. Silent raffle and free cram snacks and beverages: 9-10 p.m., Student Union Dining Area. Coffee and hot cocoa: 10 p.m., first floor Albertsons Library. Game center special: Bowling, $1.50 per game; free shoe rental with Boise State ID. Monte Carlo bowling. All day. Parking: Reserved for the first 60 in the Student Union Visitor P-Lot, starting at 6 a.m. Mention finals relief to the parking attendant.

Coffee and hot cocoa: 10 p.m., first floor Albertsons Library. Game center special: Pool, $3 per hour with Boise State ID. From Monday, May 9, to Wednesday, May 11: Stress Free Zones: SUB Marketing Booths, SUB Patio, Quad, Education Building lobby, Business Building lobby, Multi-Purpose Classroom Building lobby. Free giveaways and fun indoor and outdoor activities including, but not limited to:
Finals preparation guides: Available at the Student Union Student Stop and at Stress Free Zones. Free video game play: Student Union Marketing Booth. Ping Pong: Student Union Gipson Room. Student Union Moxie Java Special: Free cookie with espresso drink purchase (finals week only). Chicago Connection Special: Large fountain drink for the price of a small with any pizza purchase (finals week only). Student Smoothie Bar Special: Free smoothie with BSU student ID for first 25 students starting at 3 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of finals week. Also, one free memory booster per purchase of Smoothie.
Hours Student Union: 6 a.m.-2 a.m., Sunday, May 8, to Wednesday, May 11. Rec Center Computer Lab: 7 a.m.-10 p.m., Monday, May 2, to Thursday, May 12. First Floor Library: Open 24 hours.
