Boise State College of Applied Technology Offers
Grant Writing Training The Selland
College of Applied Technology at Boise State University will present a
training program for grant writers July 11-15. Those interested are
encouraged to register early; participation is limited to 30 people. The session will help equip grant writers with the tools and knowledge to be more successful at capturing grant money for their organizations. Anyone who has management, fund-raising or grant-related responsibilities is encouraged to attend. The workshop is geared to both novice and advanced grant seekers. Participants will learn:

Grantsmanship Center Inc. (TGCI) will present the training. The organization
has trained tens of thousands of nonprofit and government personnel since it
began in 1972. The program takes participants step-by-step through the
stages of writing a grant proposal and allows participants to draft a
proposal for their organization during the workshop. Upon
completion, graduates receive a one-year TGCI Membership, which affords
follow-up proposal review and access to TGCI’s funding databases. All TGCI
Membership services are included in the program tuition of $825. A limited
number of half-tuition scholarships are available to agencies with annual
budgets of less than $300,000. To register
