ANNOUNCES SUMMER NOON TUNES SCHEDULE The public can
enjoy the work of talented musicians while eating lunch during Noon Tunes at
Boise State, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., every Wednesday in June and July on the
Student Union Building Patio. All of the events are free and there will be
free parking available in the Student Union visitors’ lot. This year’s
lineup includes: June 1: Travis Shane Brandon. The acoustic duo’s lyrics will “bring you home.” June 8: Sidestar. Portland pop band that is in tune with mainstream tastes. June 15: Blue Heron Music with Wendy Mattson and Leslie Steel. Blue Heron Music is a Boise-based acoustic duo. June 22: Acoustic Minds. This Portland group has created the perfect blend of folk/pop/rock fusion, combined with slices of funk, blues and sweet-sounding ballads. June 29: All Dressed Up for Nothing. Local rock band with a sense of humor. July 6: Intervision 5. This young, eclectic, Portland-based quintet blends elements of soul, rock and funk into their own sound. July 13: Muzzie Braun. Idaho’s favorite singer/songwriter. July 20: The Butter and Sugar Show. Rightly called the kings of cover songs, The Butter and Sugar Show perform to the hilt every song requested and do it with a contagious vigor that can only be described as fascinating. July 27:
Simple People. Simple People is an acoustic-based group that combines folk
sensibility with groove-heavy rock ’n’ roll. -30-
