News Release July 12, 2005 Don Campbell To Present 'Healing Power of Music' Workshop At Boise State Public speaker and educator Don Campbell will present a workshop, “The Healing Power of Music,” from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 30 at the Boise State University Student Union Jordan Ballroom. His presentation is co-sponsored by the Boise State Music Department and SpiralWisdom, Inc. Campbell is the author of “The Mozart Effect,” which looked at the effect that sound and tones have on mental acuity, disease treatment and spirituality. He also has produced “Music for the Mozart Effect,” a series of albums for children and adults, and the book “The Mozart Effect for Children.” His books are bestsellers and have been reprinted around the world. Tickets are $40 online at www.spiralwisdom.com , or $45 at the door. Tickets also are available at Old Boise Guitar and Dorsey Music. Attendees may buy lunch at the TableRock Café in the Student Union for $8.
