News Release August 17, 2005 Thirteen Talkin' Broncos Named To All-Conference Team Thirteen members of the Boise State University debate and speech team were named to the 2004-2005 Division I All-Northwest Forensics Conference Team, announced this week. In March, the team earned the national championship at the biennial Pi Kappa Delta National Tournament in St. Louis, Mo. Awards are based on the number of points students earn†in competition at NFC tournaments.†The top ten percent of all competitors in a division are named to the first team, the next ten percent are named to the second team and the next ten percent receive honorable mention.†Of the 17 members on the Boise State team, six were named to the first team, four to the second team, and three received honorable mention.
