Waste Management Workshop Offered In North Idaho

The Idaho Small Business Development Center and the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality will host �WasteWise: A Waste Management Workshop for Idaho Small Businesses� in Moscow and Sandpoint in September.

The workshops are designed for small- to medium-sized businesses that generate solid and hazardous waste and do not have extensive training or experience in the areas of hazardous materials handling and hazardous waste compliance requirements. Any type of business that uses hazardous materials, such as paints or coatings, solvents, adhesives or glues, etching or plating solutions, lubricants or oils, coolants, photographic solutions, etc. will benefit from the workshop.

�WasteWise� will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Best Western University Inn in Moscow, and from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Best Western Edgewater Resort in Sandpoint. Registration is $25 per person and is limited to the first 50 participants for each workshop. Registration deadline is Sept. 16.
