TUESDAY, SEPT. 6

Idaho Politics: History, Culture and Ideology. Lecture. First of a four-part seminar series, also on Sept. 13, 20 and 27. The Flicks, 646 Fulton St. 10 a.m.–noon. Boise State’s Renaissance Institute brings adult learners together in a social context to expand their intellectual horizons and enrich their lives. $40 plus Renaissance Institute membership. WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 7
