News Release October 19, 2005 ‘Music From Stanley’ comes to KBSU The summer concert series at Redfish Lake hits the airwaves with “Music
From Stanley.” The weekly one-hour series will be heard on KBSU-FM from
1-2 p.m. Saturdays, Nov. 5-Dec. 3. Peck was born and raised in Idaho. His interests include songwriting, strumming his guitar, mandolin, and banjo, attempting to break the speed of sound on his road bike, drinking hot chocolates, and enjoying Boise’s foothills. After earning his master’s in biology from Idaho State University and a brief tenure in the Bay Area, Peck returned to Boise and began teaching biology part time at Boise State. He also teaches at the Discovery Center of Idaho, writes a monthly column for Idaho Magazine entitled “Music Makers” and contributes to The Boise Weekly. KBSU is the arts and cultural radio station of Boise State Radio. Saturdays on KBSU include Laz Spectrum with Linda Laz, Private Idaho with Victor Pacania, The Mountain Stage and A Prairie Home Companion.
