REACH Fair At Boise
State Promotes Healthy Lifestyle
Boise State University invites the community to �REACH for a healthier
you,� a free health fair from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, in the
Student Union Jordan Ballroom. Free and low-cost screenings will be
available, and dozens of local health promotion organizations and vendors
will offer information on topics ranging from nutrition and fitness to
massage services and health related careers. For more information, call

The 2005 REACH Health Fair is a product of kinesiology professor Caile
Spear�s health promotion class. The mission of REACH is to inspire
individual health and wellness among the Boise State community by bringing
together campus and community organizations at the annual REACH Health
Fair. This is the ninth year the class has organized the fair.
Attendees can take advantage of flue shots ($19 for students and $22 for
faculty and staff), free hearing and vision screenings, blood pressure
checks, body composition, strength testing, nutrition information and free
milk. Bone density screenings are also available by appointment for $30;
call 426-5685.
Door prizes include signed footballs, soccer balls and volleyballs,
massages, Bogus Basin lift tickets and more. Free parking will be available
the day of the event in the Women's Center parking lot across from the
Student Union, or pay parking is available in the Student Union visitor lot.
