Tickets for the festival will go on sale in December, including the discounted all-festival pass.

Poncho Sanchez and his Latin Jazz Band will perform Saturday, April 8, at Qwest Arena. Sanchez, the leader of the most popular Latin jazz group in the world, is a Grammy award-winning percussionist who got his start with Cal Tjader at 23. Sanchez has been the leader of his own ensemble for 25 years. The Jazz Times has called Sanchez the new king of Latin jazz.

Sanchez mixes funk, R&B, soul and African-inspired rhythms with the Latin music he has loved since he was a child growing up in Los Angeles. His latest album, Do It!, was released earlier this year on the Concord Picante label.

Haris and her Quintet will appear Friday, April 7, at Qwest Arena. Haris is a multi-faceted performer, and has worked as a singer, dancer and backup vocalist. She spent many years as one of Madonnas backup singers, earning her a spot in the movie Truth or Dare, before embarking on a solo career. She has also appeared with Ray Charles, Whitney Houston and Mick Jagger, among others.
