University, is offering three courses designed to help improve communication
skills in the real estate, landscaping/lawn maintenance and construction
industries.
Workplace Spanish for Realtors and Landlords is a 20-hour course designed to
help real estate agents, leasing agents and landlords better serve their

transactions, showing homes, and exchanging customer information related to
applications, deposits, rules and repairs.
Workplace Spanish for Construction is a separate 20-hour course for
construction managers and workers who need to communicate on the job with a
Spanish-speaking workforce. Topics include dates, times, directions, tools,
safety, job commands, emergencies, questions and more.
Workplace Spanish for Landscapers is also a 20-hour course and includes
topics such as tools, safety, directions, measures and terminology used in
the landscape business.
