Boise State Canyon County Center Seeks Volunteers for Adult
Tutoring Program
Boise State University's Learning Center for Adult Basic Education in Nampa
is seeking volunteers to help adults learn and improve their English
language skills.
Many of the students in the ESL (English as a Second Language) program are
new to the United States. Some are proficient English speakers, but need
help with basic literacy skills. Volunteers are not required to know a
foreign language or have prior tutoring experience.
Boise State's Canyon County Center is located at 2407 Caldwell Blvd. in
Nampa. Volunteers will be oriented and mentored by volunteer coordinator
Jeanna Burrup. For more information about the ESL volunteer program, call
