Youre invited to meet a few of the student leaders who have organized the events and who will be speaking at the march and rally on the Statehouse steps Monday morning and the Poetry Slam for Justice II on Monday night.

This would be an excellent opportunity to preview the weeks events, which wrap up with a keynote speech by CNN journalist Charlayne Hunter-Gault at 8 p.m. Jan. 20 in the Student Union Jordan Ballroom and a performance by the musical group The Princely Players at 8 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Morrison Center.

Interview subjects include:

Rodney Curley, chairman of Boise States MLK committee. He will speak at the march and rally on Monday.

Dang Du, an Associated Students of Boise State University senator and MLK committee member. He also will speak at the march and rally on Monday and will compete in the poetry slam on Monday night.

Kate Neal, member of the Boise State Cultural Center staff and MLK committee member. Neal will give a rap performance on the Statehouse steps under the stage name KRITIK. She also will perform at Monday nights poetry slam.

All three of these students have been intimately involved with the weeks events and can answer any questions you might have. They also can be reached on the phone tomorrow and through next week. Curley can be reached at 695-6373; Neal at 284-9578; and Du at 921-5623.
