Boise State's Classic Performances Series Presents Charles Neidich

Boise State�s Classic Performances Series will feature Charles Neidich at 8 p.m. Feb. 4 in the Student Union Special Events Center. Tickets are $10 general, $5 for students, seniors and Boise State staff, faculty and alumni through Select-a-Seat, 426-1494, or www.idahotickets.com.

Neidich is considered one of the most versatile clarinet soloists performing in the world today. He was the first American to receive a Fulbright grant for study in the former Soviet Union. He has won numerous top honors in national and international competitions as a soloist, and is a member of the New York Woodwind Quintet. Neidich has made a range of recordings on both modern and historical instruments.

The Classic Performances Series is an annual series sponsored by Boise State Student Activities. It brings world-class performers to the Boise State campus, and has included visits from the Cincinnati Percussion Group, Naoko Takada, the Florestan Trio and more. This year�s series will wrap up on March 11 with a performance by the Moscow String Quartet.
