Boise State�s Visual Arts Center Presents Exhibitions
The Boise State University Visual Arts Center presents �The Best is Yet to
Come: James Blankenship Retirement Exhibition� and �Live Lobsters Dancing
Nightly: Student Juried Exhibition,� through Saturday, Feb. 18, in the
Liberal Arts Building Gallery I and the Hemingway Center Gallery II. The
exhibitions are free.
�The Best is Yet to Come,� is a showcase of work by long-time Boise State
art professor James Blankenship. �Live Lobsters Dancing� is an exhibition of
art in a variety of media by some of Boise State�s most talented art
students. Britt Udesen, director of education and humanities for the Sun
Valley Center for the Arts, will judge entries.
An opening reception will be held for both exhibitions from 7-9 p.m. Friday,
Jan. 27. Free parking is available in the Liberal Arts parking lot just west
of the Special Events Center. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. daily, noon-5
p.m. Saturday.
