Boise State Hosts Annual International Food, Song and Dance
Festival Feb. 11
Boise State University invites the community to �Spin the Globe, Have a Bite
and Dance all Night� with its international students.
The 28th annual International Food, Song and Dance Festival will be held at
6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, in the Student Union Jordan Ballroom. Admission is
$18 general, $15 for Boise State students, and free for children under age
5. Tickets are available beginning Feb. 6 at Select-a-Seat, 426-1494, the
Student Union Information Desk, 426-4636, or the International Programs
Office, 426-3652. They will also be available at the door the night of the
event for an additional $5.
Presented by the International Student Association and International
Programs Office, this year�s event features performers from China, Africa,
the Philippines, Ireland and Vietnam. Guests will also enjoy a buffet of
traditional dishes, including peanut butter stew from Gambia, Turkish
baklava, Romanian stuffed cabbage and recipes from Japan, Bulgaria and
England. There will be both vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices.
Reserved tables of eight may be purchased for $140. Call 426-3652 for more
information.
