Boise State Night at the Stampede Set for Feb. 17

Boise State basketball fans are invited to check out the “other” team in town later this month during “Boise State Night at the Stampede.”

The Idaho Stampede of the Continental Basketball Association will offer discounted tickets, and the Boise State Alumni Association will sponsor a pre-game reception for Bronco fans prior to the Stampede’s Feb. 17 game at Qwest Arena against Western Division-leading Yakima.

The no-host reception will start at 6 p.m. in Qwest Arena’s Sports Zone and will feature members of the Bronco football team, who will be available to visit with fans and sign autographs.

The game between the Stampede and Sun Kings begins at 7:05 p.m.

Tickets for Bronco fans will be discounted from $17 to $8.50. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 388-4667. To receive the discount, simply identify yourself as a Boise State fan. Fans who attend the game are asked to wear blue and orange as they cheer on the Stampede.
