Boise State Nursing Student Present �La Buena Salud� Health Fairs

Boise State University�s Department of Nursing and Terry Reilly Health Services are once again teaming up to offer free health fairs at migrant farm worker camps in Marsing, Wilder and Caldwell. Health fairs will be from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. March 11 in Marsing, March 25 at Chula Vista in Wilder and April 8 at Farmway Village in Caldwell.

Boise State students and faculty will provide culturally sensitive wellness services, evaluation and referrals utilizing a mobile screening unit provided by the Lions Club. Participants can be screened for diabetes, cholesterol, vision, and blood pressure. Health information for men, women, and families will be offered. A sampling of other services provided include:
          � Information on Medicaid � Department of Health and Welfare
          � Information on mental health and counseling � Terry Reilly Health Services
          � Dental cleanings and screenings � Delta Dental Mobile Clinic
          � Information on teen pregnancy and sexual health � Southwest District Health
          � Information on protecting lungs from chemical exposure � St. Luke�s Respiratory  Therapy
          � Snacks for children � Idaho Food Bank
