College of Engineering’s Nancy Rountree Named 2006 Office
Professional of the Year by Idaho Association

Nancy Rountree, management assistant to the dean in the College of
Engineering at Boise State University, was named 2006 Office Professional of
the Year by the Idaho Association of Educational Office Professionals.
Rountree will receive her award at the Idaho AEOP’s annual conference in Sun
Valley April 6-8.
Rountree has worked at Boise State since 1992. She is past president of the
university’s Association of Office Professionals and has chaired numerous
committees in the organization. She has also served as a senator and vice
president of the university’s Association of Classified Employees. In 2001,
Rountree received her professional standards program certification and
certified educational office employee certification from the National
Association of Educational Office Professionals. Rountree earned a
bachelor’s degree in multi-ethnic studies from Boise State in 2000.
The prestigious award is based on several factors, including experience in
professional associations showing leadership and participation, achievements
in education and training and contributions to society. In 2005, Rountree
was named Office Professional of the Year by the Boise State University
Association of Office Professionals. Her name will now be forwarded to the
National Association of Educational Office Professionals for consideration
for the 2007 national award.
