Gene Harris Jazz Festival Seeks Volunteers for April 6-9 Event

The Gene Harris Jazz Festival, presented by Boise State University, is seeking volunteers for the April 6-9 event. Volunteers receive free admission to all events on the day of volunteer service, a Gene Harris Jazz Festival T-shirt, a Boise State philanthropy credit (if applicable) and a chance to listen to great music.

Many time slots and volunteer opportunities are still available for:
• Club Night, evening of April 6
• Student competitions and concerts, days and evenings of April 7-8
• Gospel Sunday, noon-4 p.m. April 9.

Shifts usually are four to five hours, and responsibilities may include providing general information about the festival, selling and checking Club Night passes, providing informal security during the clinics, distributing material, selling merchandise or acting as a runner.

To volunteer, visit http://www2.boisestate.edu/geneharris/volunteer/index.html and fill out the registration form. Forms should be returned to jazzvolunteers@clearwire.net .  Assignments are first come, first served, but every effort will be made to place volunteers with their preferred tasks and times.
