Boise State University's BGLAD Chapter
Presents an evening in the 'Birdcage Casino and Lounge’
The Boise State University Bisexuals, Gays, Lesbians and Allies for
Diversity (BGLAD) chapter is hosting a fundraiser from 6-11 p.m. April 14 in
the Student Union Hatch Ballroom. The suggested donation is $5 general and
$3 with student ID; donations will entitle holders to chips for games.
The “Birdcage Casino and Lounge” will feature an evening of casino-style
entertainment, including games of blackjack, poker, Texas Hold ’Em, craps
and Wheel of Fortune. Drag kings and queens are slated to appear, and Boise
State rapper KRITIK will give a special performance. A silent auction will
include items such as clothing, dinners and more.
Proceeds from fundraiser will benefit the Black Holez Astronomy Club, which
is trying to replace thousands of dollars worth of stolen equipment.
