Openings Still Available for Idaho Engineering Science Camp
at Boise State University June 11-16
Its not too late to sign up for the Idaho Engineering Science Camp, a
weeklong residential camp June 11-16 at Boise State University that provides
students entering 9th and 10th grade with a hands-on exploration of science
and engineering.
The annual camp offers students opportunities to work with faculty in Boise
States College of Engineering. Each year, the camp includes activities
ranging from lectures and laboratory exercises to competitions and
recreational activities. In the process, students become aware of course
work needed to prepare for a career in engineering or the sciences, as well
as college life and career planning.
Students will be housed on the Boise State campus and supervised by faculty
and dorm counselors. Cost for the camp, including room and board, is $400,
and some scholarship support may be available for students requiring
financial assistance. For more information and to apply, contact Leandra
Aburusa-Lete as soon as possible at (208) 426-4432 or
laburusa@boisestate.edu.
