Autism Expert to Speak at Boise State June 29

The Center for Health Policy at Boise State University presents Robert
Hendren, executive director of the M.I.N.D. Institute at the University of
California, Davis, at 7 p.m. June 29. Hendren will address “Current
Psychopharmacology Options for Autism” in Room 118 of the Simplot/Micron
Instructional Technology Building. The event is free and open to the public.
Hendren will speak for about 45 minutes and will answer audience questions
for a half hour.
Hendren is a child psychiatrist who specializes in the neurodevelopment of
serious emotional disorders, including autism spectrum disorders, bipolar
disorder and psychotic disorder. He also has clinical interests in the
psychopharmacologic treatment of children and adolescents. Hendren was
listed in “The National Registry of Who’s Who” in 2000 and has been named
one of the Best Doctors in America every year since the award was first
established in 1998.
