‘Thunder in Boise' Drum and Bugle Show Roars into Bronco
Stadium
Boise State University and the Keith Stein Blue Thunder Marching Band will
host “Thunder in Boise” at 7:30 p.m. July 12 at Bronco Stadium.
“Thunder in Boise” brings together top drum and bugle corps from around the
country, including the Oregon Crusaders from Portland, Ore., the Seattle
Cascades from Seattle, Wash., the Spokane Thunder from Spokane, Wash., the
Vanguard from Santa Clara, Calif., and the Blue Knights from Denver,
Colo. This Drum Corps International competition will include precision
marching and colorful routines by the corps and drill teams.
The southwest gate will open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at
the gate, and free for children 5 years or younger. Tickets may be purchased
at Blue Rider Music, Meridian; Dorsey Music, Nampa and Boise; Dunkley Music,
Boise; Greif’s Music, Ontario; Welch Music, Boise; and Idaho Percussion,
Boise. Tickets also are available by calling (208) 426-1846.
The Keith Stein Blue Thunder Marching Band is Boise State’s marching band.
Founded in 1987, it plays at Boise State football, basketball and volleyball
games.
