Boise State University’s Knowledge Network is making a move this summer. Beginning Aug. 1, the network will be found on Cable One channel 95.

The Knowledge Network, which can be found on CableOne channel 19 up until the move on Aug. 1, is a live instructional television system, or Educational Broadband Service. The network is transmitted throughout the Treasure Valley to sites where students can take classes for credit, or they can view it from their own homes through CableOne.

The Knowledge Network serves about 1,000 students each semester. When Boise State classes are not being broadcast, the network offers programs from Idaho Public Television and the Annenberg/CPB Project.

Classes for the fall 2006 semester include courses of study from many disciplines, including history, geology, math, health sciences and more. For a full lineup or to learn more about the Knowledge Network, visit http://itc.boisestate.edu/KNet  or call Ted Eisele at 426-1695.
