produced each of the award-winning stories. The awards were made in the
Region 1/Small Market category that includes Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon
and Washington.
Boise State Radio was recognized for three of Johnson’s reports: “Fisher
Poets” in the Feature Reporting category, “Bountiful: The Women of Polygamy
Speak Out” in the Hard News category and “Hemingway House” in the Writing
category.
“Elizabeth’s work in the North Idaho Bureau has been stellar,” Boise State
Radio General Manager John Hess said. “All of us here at Boise State Radio
congratulate her on winning these awards.”
For her part, Johnson said she is “pleased and honored to see stories out of
Idaho getting recognition throughout the region.”

is regularly heard throughout the Pacific Northwest, including Seattle and
Portland. In addition, she is a frequent contributor to National Public
