News Release Aug. 18, 2006 Music From Stanley Returns to KBSU Radio series features Idaho musicians performing live
The summer concert series at Redfish Lake returns to the air with Music
From Stanley. The one-hour, weekly series will be heard on KBSU-FM from 1-2
p.m. Saturdays, Aug. 26 through Nov. 3. Peck was born and raised in Idaho. His interests include songwriting, strumming his guitar, mandolin and banjo, attempting to break the speed of sound on his road bike, drinking hot chocolate and enjoying Boise’s foothills. Ryan received his master of science in biology from Idaho State University. After a brief tenure in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ryan returned to Boise and began teaching at Boise State University and The Discovery Center of Idaho. He also writes a monthly column for Idaho Magazine titled "Music Makers" and contributes to The Boise Weekly. KBSU is the arts and cultural radio station of Boise State Radio. Saturdays on KBSU include Laz Spectrum with Linda Laz, Private Idaho with Victor Pacania, The Mountain Stage and A Prairie Home Companion.
