Aug. 22, 2006 Season Tickets to Boise State University's Classic Performance Series on Sale Now Season tickets to Boise State University’s Classic Performances Series are on sale now through Sept. 8 by calling (208) 426-4636. Season tickets are $25 for students, faculty, staff, children 17 and younger and seniors 55 and older; all others are $50. Individual tickets are $5 for students, faculty, staff, children 17 and younger and seniors 55 and older and $10 general. All of the concerts begin at 8 p.m. in the Student Union Special Events Center. This year’s Classic Performances Series includes: • Dora Seres, flute, Sept. 30. Seres has appeared at the European Music Festival in Bratislava, Slovakia, the Yamanami International Music Festival in Japan and the Budapest Spring Festival. A native of Hungary, Seres graduated from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and has worked with American flutist Paula Robinson. Her first release, a collaboration with pianist Emese Mali titled "Flautissimo," was released in 2004 by Hungaroton Records. • Emmanuel Ceysson, harp, Oct. 28. Ceysson’s debut CD was released on Egan Records in 2005. Ceysson has appeared in recitals and art festivals throughout Europe and is scheduled to play at both Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall and the Kennedy Center’s Terrace Theatre this fall. • Minneapolis Guitar Quartet, Dec. 2. The Minneapolis Guitar Quartet has
become one of the world’s leading guitar ensembles since its founding in 1986.

who also can be heard on National Public Radio’s • Czech Nonet, Feb. 17. Founded in 1929, Czech Nonet is one of the oldest continuously performing ensembles of its type in the world. Czech Nonet includes violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and horn and records on the Praga record label. • Adam Neiman, piano, March 3. Neiman made his concerto debut at age 11 at the Royce Hall in Los Angeles. He is a two-time winner of Julliard’s Gina Bachauer Piano Competition and was honored with the Rubinstein Award upon his graduation in 1999; he also won the Avery Fisher Career Grant that year.
