Aug. 23, 2006 Boise State Class Offers Free Customized Employee Handbooks for Treasure Valley Companies Students in a human resource management class at Boise State University are seeking firms that need employee handbooks prepared. The service is free and covers new handbooks as well as revisions of existing handbooks. Handbooks will be customized and include information on the company’s mission and history. Other topics to be covered include selection procedures, discipline, work rules, compensation, benefits, health, safety, security, training and performance appraisals. A representative from the company must be available to meet with the students once in September and once in November. Handbooks will be completed in December.
