The Boise State Women’s Center is seeking nominations for its annual Women
Making History project. This year’s publication, with the theme "Ordinary Women
Living Extraordinary Lives," will feature 25 women including Boise State
students, faculty and staff, and members of the community. The Women’s Center is
also looking for writers from the community to join student writers on the
project.
Women Making History highlights the stories of women working to make a
difference in their communities. Nomination forms are available online at

or by calling 426-4259. Nominations must be received by 5 p.m. Oct. 2.
Women Making History has been a part of Women’s History Month at Boise State
since 2001. The Idaho Statesman and Boise State’s student newspaper The Arbiter
distribute 28,000 copies of the 20-page publication to the community each Marc
h. Past Nominees have included former Supreme Court Justice Cathy Silak, WCA
Director Beverly LaChance and Boise State Dean of Engineering Cheryl Schrader.
