Celebrate New Issue of Boise State
University's Cold-Drill Magazine at Release Party
Cold-drill, a literary magazine that has been a Boise State tradition for more
than 30 years, will celebrate its latest issue with a release party at 7 p.m.
Oct. 7 at Satchel’s Grill, 705 Bannock, Boise. The event is free and open to the
public.
Contributors Terry Allen, Dana Johnson, Adam Phillips, Nicole Cullen and Tyler
Brewington will be on hand to read their works during the 2007 cold-drill
release party. Copies will be available for $5 at the release party and also can
be found at the Boise State Bookstore, Trip Taylor Booksellers, and from
www.cold-drill.com.
Cold-drill was founded by Boise State English professor Tom Trusky more than 30
years ago. It is produced by graduate students in the MFA program. The magazine
is accepting submissions for its next issue; fiction, nonfiction and poetry
submissions may be sent to cold-drill, Department of English, Boise State
University, 1910 University Drive, Boise, ID, 83725. Submissions will be read
through Jan. 31, 2007. For more information, visit

Boise State’s student population has increased 25 percent.
