Student Programs Board Features Several Films for Fall

Boise State Student Programs Board will present the films "Click", "The Shining", and "An Inconvenient Truth" this fall.  All films will be shown in the Special Events Center and are free for Boise State students, staff and faculty and cost $1 for the general public.

"Click", a 2006 film starring Adam Sandler, will be shown at 7 p.m. Oct. 12.  In the film, Sandler's character finds a universal remote control, which allows him to fast-forward and rewind through different parts of his life.  This film is rated PG-13.  Audience members will receive raffle tickets to win remote controls and a television set.

In the spirit of Halloween, "The Shining" will be shown at 7 p.m. Oct.27. Attendees will have to brave a haunted hallway to enter the Special Events Center.  This 1980 thriller starring Jack Nicholson carries the tagline "A Masterpiece of Modern Horror." It is rated R.

"An Inconvenient Truth“ will be featured at 7 p.m. for three nights, Nov 7, 9 and 10.  This documentary focuses on Al Gore's campaign to make the world aware of global warming and its consequences for humanity.  Critics and viewers alike have praised the 2006 documentary.  This film is rated PG.
