Student Programs Board Presents "Fall Funk"

The Boise State Student Programs Board is celebrating autumn with “Fall Funk,” Oct. 30-Nov. 6. Activities are free for Boise State students, faculty and staff unless otherwise noted. Events include:

Monday, Oct. 30 — Nightmare on University Drive. Families are invited to celebrate Halloween with kid-friendly festivities. Activities include a costume contest, haunted hallway, scary stories, cookie decorating and more. This is a family event, which will also include food, drinks, prizes and games. Student Union Jordan Ballroom. 6-8 p.m. $3 for families with student ID, $5 for community families.

Tuesday, Oct. 31 — Trick-or-Treat. Student Union. 11 a.m.-2 p.m. SPB will provide candy for Boise State students, staff and faculty at their marketing booth.

Wednesday, Nov. 1 — Nacho Bar. 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Brava! Stage. SPB invites students to take a break from their busy schedules with a free lunch. Students must have ID. Call 426-1728.

Thursday, Nov. 2 — Hot beverages. 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Students, faculty and staff can pick up a free cup of hot chocolate, hot apple cider or coffee on the Quad.

Friday, Nov. 3 — Up All Night. Student Union Building. 10 p.m.-1 a.m. Presented by Student Activities, students can participate in an array of activities. SPB will sponsor speed dating.

Monday, Nov. 6 — Comedian Adam Ace. Student Union Special Events Center. 7 p.m. Ace takes audiences on a crazy comedy adventure. He combines comedy, music, props, costumes, wacky dancing and lots of audience participation. This event is free.
