Boise State University to
Honor Veterans' Contributions with Special Ceremony on Nov. 10
Boise State University will honor the sacrifices made by veterans during a
special Veterans Day celebration from noon-1 p.m. Nov. 10 in the Student Union
Special Events Center. The event is free and open to the public, and parking
will be available in the Student Union Visitor Lot.
The celebration will feature a special video message from Sen. Larry Craig, as
well as a keynote speech from Maj. Gen. Lawrence Lafrenz of the Idaho National
Guard. Lafrenz’s presentation will focus on the importance of veterans and
their contributions to freedom and security. Refreshments will be available
following the program.
Boise State is home to nearly 400 students, faculty and staff who are veterans.
