'Bra Project' Raises More
Than $2,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness
The Bra Project, an art auction hosted by the Boise State Women’s Center, raised
more than $2,000 for the Breast Cancer Detection Center at St. Luke’s Mountain
States Tumor Institute.
The Bra Project, now in its third year, is an evening of art, food and jazz to
raise funds for breast cancer awareness and prevention. This year’s auction,
held Nov. 2 at Mosaic Essential Gallery in downtown Boise, drew 100 people who
bid on 32 artistic representations of bras created by local artists.
